An overview of Lethbridge School District #51’s unconventional grassroots journey to OverDrive Education as their platform for digital and audio books will be discussed.  Starting small with the attitude that form (e.g. policy, tech support, collection management/development) would follow function (the introduction of OverDrive Education).  OverDrive Education is an integral part of the district’s goal to realize its Learning Commons Policies and Procedures as well as Alberta Education’s Ministerial Order on Student Learning.  Darryl Johnston, OverDrive Education Account Executive, will also  be available to talk about the Alberta consortia, pricing and answer any questions.
