Let's break the barriers here. Tired of just sitting and listening to the session speakers. Well then - this is the session for you!!!!
I have 10 Lego Mindstorms EV3s robots that you will actively engage with and learn some basic programming operations. Then, I will walk you through a mini-version of a simulated FIRST Robotics Competition and you will have a chance at robot carnage and winning big! Prizes for First Place Alliances.
Are you brave enough? Are you up for the challenge? Let's do this!
This session is for beginners and intermediate educators in robotics. You can learn about the FIRST Programs and get some great support resources while having some fun.
Did you know that ADLC has some CTS Electronics and Robotics courses? I will share some great FREE resource links during the session too.
What can you afford in the classroom? There are other inexpensive ways to teach coding through other platforms. I will share those as well.
In preparation for this session, please download the FREE Lego Mindstorms Education version of the software. You have to create your own educator account but not to worry, it is a free download. https://education.lego.com/en-gb/downloads/mindstorms-ev3
