Currently, there are three volume license agreements that apply to the Alberta post-secondary sector: the Provincial Microsoft License (PML), the ECAL Agreement, and the Volume License Agreement managed by AAHEIT. With the future of the PML being in doubt, and a new licensing model coming from Microsoft, the time to determine a way forward is now. In this interactive session, we will examine the impact of this change and explore alternative responses, with a view to forging consensus about approach.
