As a professional librarian for 31 years, I have overseen the evolution of reading platforms from hard cover books to digital access for print and audio; from restricted borrowing times to 24/7 availability. I am always looking for ways to break down the barriers to literacy, and to put kids and literature together. This aim lead me to spearhead LSD#51’s grassroots, unconventional journey to OverDrive. Our consortium is still in its infancy.
