Karen Belter

Karen Belter (MEd) is the Teacher Librarian at Centre High Campus. She is passionate about best practices in teaching especially as it relates to reluctant or disengaged learners. Presently, she is focused on experiential learning using digital applications and Makerspace initiatives to get students actively participating in their own learning. Karen co-authored and teaches two new dual credits/locally developed courses for the Working With Children Career Pathway. She has taught K-12 plus University in a variety of programs including special needs, International Baccalaureate and  Advanced Placement. Karen is president of the Alberta School Learning Commons Council executive and is a reviewer for the ASLC Litpicks site.
